To whom it may concern at Irrevolutionary.com,
I was waiting for my husband to come out of the Social Security office when a group of young individuals accosted me and asked me would I mind if they ask a few questions. Having nothing better to do, I assented, and my husband popped out right as they were starting out. First of all, they wanted to know how long we felt we could expect to receive Social Security checks. My husband responded that he was already pretty advanced in age and so he wasn’t exepcting the system to collapse within his lifetime. One of the kids picked up the insinuation and asked him whether my husband could expect that the people in the group would get Social Security benefits. My husband shrugged and candidly replied probably not. The kids took to asking where my husband thought the money went. He told them that smoe of it was reallocated to defending the country, that maybe too little was coming in what with businesses relying on fewer and fewer employees and requiring less and less physical labor. One kid had the audacity to ask my husband if he thought that Social Security was planned to last only as long as the Greatest Generation and the Baby Boomer Generation, and not for any generations after that. This upset my husband, who served his country in two wars and who worked for the same employer for over 30 years. How is any money supposed to get paid to Social Security when these kids are hopping from job to job with the frequency they do, nowadays? They have no values for saving and investing. Furthermore, why should they expect to receive benefits when they themselves have given so little to their country?
Please remove your organization’s presence from in front of the Social Security office.
